Tips for Participants

Congratulations! You’re going to be on the “I’ll Get The Tip Podcast”.

Below are a few Tips that will help you prepare for the recoding session…

Download the “CHROME” browser to your laptop. The Riverside Software that we record the podcasts on only works on the Chrome Browser!
Please turn your cell phone OFF!
Find a “quiet” place where you will be comfortable sitting for roughly an hour while we are recording your interview.
Please make sure that the room is brightly lit.
Please make sure that the main source of lighting is NOT directly behind you. If there is a strong light source behind you, your face will be in silhouette for the recording
Try to clean off the camera lens in your computer for a clear image of you when we record.
Don’t wear any clothes with brand logos like Nike, Adidas etc. We don’t want to give any brands the free promotion.
Please don’t wear anything with stripes or any patterns on your body that might cause a moray (blurring) effect when recorded
We will be calling you 30 minutes prior to your session recording to make sure that your computer and the Riverside software are working properly.
Have a cup of coffee or tea nearby you, within the frame. Our theme is Great coffee…Great Conversation.
Please make sure that you have finished all your personal prep before the session starts. (Your hair, any makeup on for the females, visited the restroom prior to the interview..)
